Walking through Almaty feels like flipping pages of history: Soviet-era buildings, modern glass towers, and snow-kissed mountains watching over everything like protective elders. The people? Warm, calm, soft-spoken… the kind who’ll help you even if they don’t speak English. As an Indian, you’ll feel oddly at home — they love Bollywood, and you’ll hear “Shah Rukh Khan?” more times than you expect. The culture is this dreamy mix of nomadic traditions, Russian influence, and Central Asian pride. Food?
