How YOU can plan the perfect trip in 5 easy steps: Step 1: Choose your travel destination and decide on your total/daily budget. This is important for deciding your style of travel (public transportation vs. rental car, hostel vs. hotel etc.) Step 2: Research the places you’ve always want to go and plot the destinations on a map. This will provide you with a visual framework of the distance among spots and will show you the amount you can reasonably do in how much time you need to travel. Step 3: Book the transportation (flights, rental car, Bus, train tickets, etc.) in advance with flexible tickets when possible. This step is important so that you don't arrive in peak season, and everything is sold out. If you're traveling during the off season, it may not be necessary to plan too much in advance. Step 4: Once you have arrived, respectfully seek out ways to connect with locals & their culture. Experiencing a different way of life cultivates empathy, kindness, and deeper understanding. When you travel with the mindset that strangers are friends you haven’t met yet, the universe tends to send fun, likeminded people your way. Step 5: Let go of your expectations and you’ll never be disappointed. Social media has made it all too easy to compare your journey to someone else’s staged, edited moment. Mandla - The city of Gond Tribe has the prominent stamps of the Gond community. The word Gond comes from ‘Kond’ which means green mountains and tribal people are called Gondis as they live mainly in the lush green mountains of Madhya Pradesh. The tribe believes that seeing a good and happy image brings lots of good luck and positivity to them. They believe that earth, water, and air are ruled by Gods. To worship those natural calamities and gods they celebrate most festivals with songs and dances. Here, I am showing you the pride of Gond Ram Nagar Fort and Raj Rajeswari temple and the sheer performance of the Gond Tribe. Amarkantak is a well frequented Hindu pilgrimage center that is popularly known as "Teerthraj" - "the king of pilgrimages". It is the meeting point of the Vindhya and the Satpura Ranges, with the Maikal Hills being the fulcrum. This was an absolute feast for the eyes. Let me put you in my brain. 🌠 That day we started our journey little early. I thought summer is here so did not carry any piece of jackets and in midway our car broke down. At Rohtang Pass, I realized that how stupidly I acted to not to carry any worm clothes but Rohtang oh Rohtang , You are a stunner. I mesmerized by the beauty and wanted to go to the dream place which I dreamed to visit. Luck was not there, and our car already broke down. We decided to hike and walk, and it was a stormy day for which we were not prepared. Without any jacket on the piercing winds were killing us like needles. One, two, three, and we reach , there’s the place; I was counting with every step taken forward. Glimpse of the Chandra river enough to give me goosebumps on my skin and motivation to move ahead a little more. After half an hour of pushing oneself forward and shivering, we started seeing the trees, sudden changes of road views and the mountains of the valley. We walked a little further and voila, we were in heaven. Sissu is one of the most beautiful places at Lahaul I ever visited. I have never seen something so picturesque; I have never seen something so pristine surrounded by nothing but white snowy mountains. Well if there is magic, I was seeing it right here. Have you ever visited any plastic free village situated amidst forest?? Karyam village of Bhariya Tribals are most prestigious tribes among other tribes. They belong from Dravidian tribes and generally live in the huts made of bamboo and mud. They cultivates kodu kutki, corn in their small patch of lands. They know how to survive on minimal possession and maintain a happy sustainable lifestyle. I was amazed to see that the village was soo clean , plastic free, without any modern amenities and the people are so good and welcoming. I absolutely loved the heritage haveli vibes here, not to mention the amazing food they have and the ever so colorful rooms, beautiful paintings and a large mirror which make fill you with happiness the moment you enter the palace! 😄

Have you ever stayed in a heritage 200 years old haveli?? This weekend I took a break from my work schedule and directly headed to Mandawa to soak the serenity of Shekhawati culture. With @tripotocommunity I booked my stay at @mandawakothi to give myself a retreat. The two days I spent there was amazing as I enjoyed every minute of my stay at Mandawa. I walked down to the postcard perfect alleys and experienced the marwadi culture, their havelis, frescoes and food ( it is obvious, without local food , I do not complete my travel).
