The fort had ownership of Maharaja Khem Sawant Bhonsle of the 17 century. Now it has been converted into a luxurious property.
It is precisely an hour away, 42 km from North of Panaji, easily reached by ferry from Querim.
It has a total of seven rooms and suites designed in Portuguese style. The interiors & features give the fort an outstanding look.
Rooms are named after the seven days! 2 Suites: Saturday and Sunday & 5 Deluxe Double Rooms: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.
Who could ignore the lavish buffet with sumptuous drooling food?
The fort’s elevated situation and the scenic views from the ramparts are mesmerizing. From the verandah, a view of the sunset is an experience.
This Time I would like to spend some more time here and want slow travel....
